Dam to Dam Open

Come and join us for our Dam to Dam Open event
The iconic Dam to Dam challenge returns in 2024. This is a 2 day long distance racing open event, across the full length of Kielder Water – the UK’s largest man made reservoir. The event is also open to all handicap classes with a PY under 1400
On the water:
- 2 long distance races (1 per day)
- First race @ 1pm on Sunday 5th May
- Mass start for all competitors
On Shore:
- Free camping for tents – although it is first come, first serve.
- Please be aware that space onsite at the sailing club will be limited for camper vans & caravans – there is a public car park next to the sailing club where tickets can be purchased from the visitor center on arrival. Every effort will be made to enable camping onsite for all competitors.
- Galley open for snacks throughout the weekend (there will be a meal on the Sunday evening)
- Bar open all weekend
